Hand drawn lettering is one of Richard Deverell’s specialities. He developed this skill producing visuals and creative logos in the days when the commercial artist did not use a computer. Incorporating words and pictures for branding is not only appropriate for when children are the target market. Many company and organisation logos have a picture with their name.
This wooden toy importer wanted new packaging and their logo left a lot to be desired, so Richard suggested a hand drawn logo that could be used with or without the images here. Characters in books and those available as licensed images also need creative and unique lettering. Freelance illustrator Richard Deverell is the man for the job.
